Our Mission Statement:

"By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids."

We have accomplished great things in our goal to bring out the best in kids.
Mid way through  2012 we have financially supported the Law Enforcement Explorer's Club post # 107,The South Mountain Children's Home, Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina, Optimist International  Dime a Day Program, Victory Junction, and 13 Freshman in Action Awards to seven Cabarrus County High Schools.  We look forward to further opportunities to help the youth of our community.
In 2011 we helped initiate the Success for Teens
program in the alternative school in Concord, sponsored 25 at-risk youth to a character building outing at the "Wings of Eagles Ranch" ($650) and awarded 8 local high school freshmen with the "Freshmen in Action" certificate and $50 each for demonstrating optism, and dedication to improving character, attitude and grades in the 2010-2011 school year ($400). All seven Cabarrus County  high schools will be participating each semester in the 2011-2012 school year ($700).
The newest additions to our contribution list is the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital ($2804), Optimist International Cancer Kids Appeal ($150) and the Boys and Girls Homes in North Carolina ($150).
